2016

The First Location Opens

Starbird chicken opens its first location at 1241 W El Camino Real, Sunnyvale. Founder Aaron Noveshen serves the Bay Area its first taste of elevated chicken — lines wrap around the block on opening day.

2017

Award-Winning Recipes Recognized

Starbird earns its first Bay Area "Best Chicken" award, with food critics praising the house-made sriracha honey sauce and crispy tenders as "game-changing fast casual."

2019

Expansion Across Silicon Valley

Responding to overwhelming demand, Starbird expands to five locations across the Bay Area. A dedicated delivery kitchen is launched to serve more starbirds fans at home.
